Gomatha or Kamadhenu, otherwise called Surabhi, is a heavenly cow-like goddess portrayed in Hinduism. There are a number of cows that are stranded on the roads of India. We should take the initiative in building Goshalas so that the animals would have a place they could be fed and taken care of and most importantly be safe from the incoming traffic and the harsh weather.

Nitya foundation has “already” taken the initiative to provide them shelter in Gayatri Goshala in Kurnool,Andhra Pradesh.
